Maria Vitória Duarte Ferrari is a Forestry Engineer by Universidade Federal de Viçosa (1984), master in agronomy from Universidade Estadual de Londrina (1997) and doctor in soil and Plant Nutrition by Universidade Federal de Viçosa (2004). Professor at the University of Brasilia UnB and Vice in College Coordinator of LACIS (laboratory of the built environment and Sustainability) of the FAU/CDS/FGA-UnB, has a ten years experience as a leader and coach, auditor in forest and chain of custody certification by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and Brazilian forest certification Program (CERFLOR). Develops applied research in: environmental and social responsibility; environmental management; municipal solid waste management and construction; integrated management system (quality, environment, health, safety and social responsibility); formation of social networks for complex problems with the integration of agents, actions and instruments and use of tools of systems thinking.
