Raquel Naves Blumenschein is architect and Urbanist from Universidade Católica de Goiás (1982), master in Building Economics and Management at the Bartlett School of Architecture and Planning-University College London (1989) and Doctor by the Sustainable Development Center/UnB (2004). Teacher (Assistant Category-2), Faculty of architecture and urbanism at the University of Brasilia since 1993. Coordinator of LACIS (laboratory of the built environment, Inclusion and sustainability (CDS/FAU/FG-UnB). Vice Chairman of the Committee on the environment of SINDUSCON – DF and coordinator of the Project knowledge to innovation of the Brazilian Chamber of the construction industry (CBIC). Develops applied research in: innovation of the productive chain of the construction industry; thinking systems application; sustainability of the built environment-processes and products; sustainable construction; environmental management; municipal solid waste management and construction; environmental and social responsibility; social networks and shared responsibility in the search for solutions to complex urban problems with integrating agents, actions and instruments. Guidance of master's and doctoral degrees.
